Woodburn Elementary is excited to congratulate Jocelyne Giron on being nominated and selected as Woodburn Elementary's Outstanding New Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year, as part of the FCPS Outstanding Employee Awards Program. We are incredibly grateful to have Ms. Giron at Woodburn!

"Those who have worked with or observed Ms. Giron would probably never guess that she is only a second-year teacher if they didn't already know it. She has an amazingly strong skill set when it comes to instruction and planning. She works hard to build amazing relationships with her students, even attending students' outside activities, such as soccer games of both current and former students. Ms. Giron is simply a fantastic person to work with on both a professional and personal level."
