"Visual-EYES-ing a Portrait of a Graduate" connects with Fairfax County Public Schools' 6th grade standards. This program helps students learn about important Americans who show skills like communication, teamwork, resilience, creativity, and global citizenship. Students will explore how these traits helped these people make a big impact on American history and culture. During the visit, students will work together, think critically, and discuss portrait art. The goal is to inspire students and help them relate to the idea of creating their own self-portrait as they prepare for graduation.
