Get2Green at Woodburn

Woodburn’s Get2Green program includes two student-led clubs dedicated to environmental responsibility: the Recycling Team and the Eco-Club. The Recycling Team, made up of 5th and 6th graders, manages classroom paper recycling and raises awareness about the importance of recycling through posters and news segments. The Eco-Club provides 3rd and 4th graders with hands-on environmental activities during lunchtime, fostering a deeper connection with nature. Some of these activities include making bird feeders, creating nature mandalas and planting seeds.
