We are excited to announce that Woodburn Elementary has been selected as a recipient of an Educate Fairfax grant! Our project, the Typing Club, was chosen from over 200 applications, and we are incredibly excited about the opportunities this grant will provide.

Visiting the National Portrait Gallery lets students explore portraits of famous American figures, bringing history to life through art.

A field trip to the Baltimore Aquarium lets students explore ocean habitats, see sharks, and interact with marine life. It’s a fun, hands-on way to learn about animals and ocean conservation.
